Simple, entry level, FREE, GNU GPL based link & banner exchange component for Joomla

JV-LinkExchanger Basic Edition (JV-BE) is the entry level, non-commercial edition of JV-LinkExchanger, released under GNU GPL version 2 and is absolutely FREE to download and use. This edition has all the elements required for a basic and successful link and banner exchange and is more of a working evaluation or showcase of what is in store in the Standard Edition.

Some of the significant features provided by the basic edition are, Link and banner exchange, reciprocal checks, one-way links, two-way exchanges, basic compatibility with almost all Joomla SEF extensions, directory organization, multiple directory layouts, approvals, notifications, reminders, link rating systems, image security for forms, website thumbnails, directory monetization, directory search, pagination, scheduled reciprocal link checks, highly configurable backend options etc...

JV-BE is also compatible with centralized link exchange (JV-CLE) service offered at www.jv-linkexchanger.com. The product can be dynamically integrated with centralized link exchange service at www.jv-linkexchanger.com with a subscription and a simple configuration.

All changes and new releases to the basic edition will be "Maintenance Releases" only. They will predominantly be bug fix releases, security releases, minor enhancements and minor version releases. The Basic edition will not be enhanced with new features, major enhancements or developments. All such major new features will be incorporated in the Standard Edition only.
